Roasted peanut satay paste fragranced with lemongrass and galangal

The street stall Sate H. Romli in South Jakarta is the inspiration behind our Satay Paste. Hot charcoal is manually fanned till billowing with smoke and white-hot before skewers of marinated meats are placed on top to cook. The end result is perfectly charred and slightly smoky meat skewers made complete with a special Indonesian spiced peanut sauce – delicious! Our Satay Paste is made using roasted peanuts fragranced with lemongrass, galangal and mild spices, all slowly layer cooked for authentic Indonesian flavour.

EASY USES:

Condiment - Heat 1 tbsp with 1tbsp coconut milk for meat skewers & spring rolls
Dressing - Mix 1 tbsp with 1tbsp sweet chilli for noodle salads, wraps & tenders
Stir Fry - Toss 2 tbsp and 1tbsp coconut milk with chicken/beef & peppers
