Chinese Treacle 3-Spice Ribs
Get ready to cook
1. Preheat the fan oven to 150°C.
2. Place ribs in a roasting tray. Add coca-cola or stock, cover tightly with foil and transfer to the oven. Roast for 2-3 hours or until tender. Let ribs rest for 5 minutes.
3. Put the oven grill to high heat. Transfer the ribs to a wire rack; brush both sides with Shandong Sweet Paste. Grill for 7-8 minutes, turning halfway until brown and caramalised.
4. Garnish and serve immediately.
3kg baby back ribs
400g Shandong Sweet Paste
1.5 cups coca-cola soft drink OR desired stock
2 spring onions, chopped to garnish
