Adas Polo Lentil Rice
Get ready to cook
1. In a lidded pot, add rice, water, turmeric and Mexican Chilli Orange Paste; mix well.
2. Bring to boil then reduce heat to the lowest setting. Cover with lid and cook for 20-25 mins. Remove from direct heat and let the pot rest for 10-15 mins. DO NOT remove the lid.
3. Fluff with a fork and stir in lentils and raisins; serve.
200g Mexican Chilli Orange Paste
400g uncooked white long grain or basmati rice
400g tinned lentils
1 teaspoon turmeric
Optional: 50g raisins
